A Russian website posted these photos of Ancient Russian tombs over 6,000 years old. They are as huge as those on other continents but are sadly being neglected.
Russian megaliths are equal to the great megaliths of Europe in terms of age and quality of architecture, but are still of an unknown origin. In spite of the variety of Caucasian monuments, they show strong similarities with megaliths from different parts of Europe and Asia, like the Iberian Peninsula, France, Great Britain, Ireland, Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Israel and India. A range of hypotheses has been put forward to explain these similarities and the building of megaliths on the whole, but still it remains unclear. Approximately 3,000 of these megalithic monuments are known in the Western Caucasus, but more are constantly being found, while more and more are also being destroyed. Today, many of these monuments are in great disrepair and will be completely lost if they are not protected from vandals and general neglect.
I also thought they might be of interest since some are as old as pre-dynastic Ancient Egypt.

This portal has more examples of the Caucasian Tombs, or ‘dolmens’.
It is a Russian site, and if you can read Russian the author’s page might have more info.

Go say hi and view the ancient tombs,
René
I just got some great tips from some of my contacts and visitors on –>MyBlogLog
which you can see in my sidebar.
They reminded me that great content and links to Technorati, Furl, del.icio.us, are not enough to generate visitors.
Kabati had this great idea that he posted on how to increase your Technorati links, which I have copied below.
Just one thing: you have to copy the html or the links won’t work.
So try it out. And Thanks –>Kabati and –>MWhatli

Here are the rules:
1. Write a short introduction paragraph about how you found the list and include a link to the blog that referred you to the list.
2. COPY the Rules and ENTIRE List below and post it to your blog. To avoid duplicate content and increase the amount of keywords your site can accessible for, go ahead and change the titles of the blog. Just don’t change the links of the blog.
3. Take ‘My New Faves’ and move them into the ‘The Original Faves’ list.
4. Add at least 3 Blogs that you’ve just added to your Technorati Favorites to the ‘My New Faves’ section. Remember to also add the ‘Fave Me’ link next to your new blogs (i.e. http://technorati.com/faves?add=http://www.yourdomain.com)
5. Add Everyone on this list to your Technorati Favorites List by clicking on ‘Fave the Site.’ (Please FAVE EVERYONE on the List prior to posting the list or a Kitten will Die Alone in a Dark Alley Tonight). Those who want good karma will fave you back. If not, you will for sure get the benefits of faves from the bloggers who continue this list after you.

If this is where the Star Kings of Ancient Egypt now reside? The Orion Nebula and Constellation.
There are many new stars a-borning in the Orion Nebula. What does it mean? Spiritually, that is.
Click on the Thumbnail and a lightbox pops up.

What an incredible universe we live in. The more we discover about it, the more we discover the mysteries way beyond our understanding.
